Why You Should Never Dry Your Hair With A Regular Towel
Hey girls i'm back with another blog post for you all, and this one will truly shock you. I'm going to tell you why you should never dry your hair with a regular cotton towel, so let's dive straight in. FACT: Using a traditional towel to dry your soaking hair is the worst thing ever. The coarse texture and dryness of a cotton or towel can cause damage to the hair. Wait what! Yep it's true, cotton towels can worsen split ends and cause small craters along the hair shaft, weakening the hair and creating frizz. Frizz is a major indicator of damaged, dry hair in need of moisture. And regular cotton towels just suck all the moisture out leaving hair dry and frizzy. So why are regular cotton towels so damaging for your hair. Well it's all down to the material used which tends to be cotton or a cotton/wool blend. This material is popular because it is absorbent and sturdy meaning the towel will last for years. It is also great for soaking up water from the skin without issue. The drawback is that it can lead to damaging your hair. Regular cotton towels are woven with a looser framework and have larger loops. This causes more frizz and friction when using it to dry your hair. Even if your hair is in good shape, a cotton towel isn’t doing you any favours. Our advice is if you want your hair care game to be on point - throw that regular cotton towel away!
So what should you use instead?
The good news is we have a solution, and that's our SNI natural hair care Frizz-Eaze Turbie. It's our latest innovative, lightweight drying system made from ultra-fine hair like fibres that are split into strands thinner than silk. It's less fluffy than a regular cotton towel but works more effectively for hair. Microfiber towels are better for hair because they provide a much smoother drying surface for the hair. Here are the main benefits of using the SNI Frizz-Eaze Turbie: More Absorbent. It's much more absorbent and absorbs water efficiently across the fabric. in addition to this it will absorb excess moisture and leave the rest of the moisture in your hair while a regular cotton towel will wick out every last ounce of moisture leading to frizz. Less Drying Time. Thanks to the super absorbency powers of microfiber towels, you can cut down on drying time. Who doesn’t love saving time on their morning routine without sacrificing results? Absorbing moisture in around 15 minutes means by the time you've applied your make-up your hair will be ready to blow dry.Doesn’t Require Rubbing. You don’t need to rub a microfiber towel around your strands to get out excess moisture. Just wait on it and let it do its thing. Minimal friction means you won’t experience breakage or make your split ends worse.
Control Frizz. Microfiber towels are much softer than cotton towels so they cause less friction when used to dry hair. Less friction equals less frizz resulting in soft and manageable hair. How to Use The SNI Frizz-Eaze Turbie
It’s super easy to use the SNI Frizz-Eaze Turbie. To start, gently squeeze the excess water out your hair.
